TOC is an all ages, 300-seat, nonprofit, nonreligious concert hall and historic landmark in Portland, Oregon

Built in 1882, it is on the National Register of Historic Places. Our mission is to produce and present programs that reflect and enhance the cultural life of the community while preserving and celebrating the building’s historic architecture.

TOC is looking for positive, professional, and outgoing individuals to join our dynamic team. Flexible scheduling. Positions are part-time and mostly evenings between 5pm to 11pm. Some matinees. Hiring for box office, bar, in-house security, back-up house manager

Job Duties Include-

  • Being genuinely kind and respectful to everyone
  • Being part of a team and working well with others
  • Being able to delegate and take direction well
  • Greeting artists, promoters and audience members as they arrive
  • Being helpful and energetic 
  • Box office includes checking vaccination cards, scanning tickets and selling tickets at the door
  • Beer and Wine bar. OLCC permit required.
  • Back up house managers must be highly organized and professional, welcoming, accommodating and assertive without being rude or aggressive
  • In-house security requires DPSST certification. We will pay for DPSST certification for the right candidate. Duties include enforcing house policies such as COVID restrictions, capacity, and ID checking, behavior.
